Nancy Baker was a student in Dr. Don Fowler's historic preservation class at the University of Nevada, Reno. National Register of Historic Places nomination form for poet Joanne de Longchamps' house at 821 Center St., Reno, Nevada. Includes an architectural description of the home, brief biography of de Longchamps, copy of her will, and photos of the house and the neighborhood (1990-1999).

Irene Bruce (1903-1937) was a Nevada Poet, poetry editor for Nevada magazine, founder of the Reno Poetry Workshop, and member of the National League of American Pen Women. Primarily typescript poems by Bruce: Mountain cabin, Autumn wind across a grave, Widow, Garden spider, Lost Indian wind, and Lake Pyramid. Also included is a printed pamphlet of poetry and letter from Bruce to J [Joanne de Longchamps]. Dates range from 1950-1969.

Carol Darwin Nabors attended high school in Hollywood, California with Joanne (Cutten) de Longchamps. Joanne Cutten de Longchamps was born in Los Angeles in 1923 and attended schools in Los Angeles and Paris where she studied painting and music, both of which she pursued later in life. The collection contains scrapbooks that include copies of Joanne's poems, correspondence, articles, programs, greeting cards, and photographs of Joanne and her interests.
