National Uranium Research Evaluation Report

Abstract

The National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Program was responsible for the collection, analysis, and evaluation of sediment and water samples from closed basins in Nevada to determine their uranium potential; Winnemucca Dry Lake was one of the basins analyzed. The collection contains the final report of the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance report, produced in 1978, and aerial photographs of Winnemucca Dry Lake.
