Abstract
The Hunsaker collection consists of some of Hunsaker's personal papers and those of his wife but a major part of the collection contains the Las Vegas business records of Leigh Hunt and his family. This collection is important because it documents the twentieth century development of Las Vegas as a resort town and illustrates the long-term impact of the construction of Hoover Dam. Abstract
Delphine A. and Charles Pemberton Squires were residents of Las Vegas from 1905-1958. Charles was a member of the League of the Southwest and the Colorado River Commission. The collection contains a history of Las Vegas and southern Nevada by the Squires, from earliest times with emphasis on the period from 1905.
