E. B. Coffin Papers
The E. B. Coffin Papers contains genealogical materials about Coffin family members, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates; lineage notes; obituaries; and newspaper clippings. Also included is correspondence (usually on the death of a family member), deeds and legal agreements, a scrapbook and autograph album, and many photographs of the family.
Virginia Coffman Papers
Virginia Coffman (1914-2005) was an American novelist best known for her Gothic novels. The collection consists primarily of materials related to Coffman's career as a popular novelist, including manuscript drafts, notes, proposals, and newspaper clippings, as well as articles, screenplay ideas, and correspondence relating to her film and screenwriter career. A small amount of personal and family material is also included.
County Fiscal Officers Association Records
The County Fiscal Officers Association of Nevada was founded on April 27, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. They improved operations at county governments in Nevada. The collection includes the organization's constitution and bylaws, minutes, programs of annual meetings, correspondence, history of the organization, membership lists, newspaper clippings and scrapbooks.
Captain Charles E. Davis Collection
Captain Charles E. Davis ( -1933) was an amateur historian and expert on westward emigration in the United States. The collection contains Davis' original journals, correspondence, and photographs that document his work on retracing the Donner-Reed Party emigrant trail through Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming to California. Additionally, the collection contains handwritten notes on Davis' visit to the scene of the Mountain Meadows Massacre in Utah.

Includes materials by or about Sam Davis and his family, the Corbett-Fitzsimmons boxing match, Thomas Fitch, Thomas P. Brown, Henry R. Mighels, Robert O'Brien, Theodore Winters, Lake Tahoe, and the Western States Exploration Company. Microfilm contains materials from family scrapbook.
Jack Dieringer Papers
Andrew “Jack” Dieringer (1925-2020) graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1948 with a degree in biology. He began working for the Nevada Fish and Game Commission directly out of college and continued there until his retirement in 1983. Collection includes daily diaries kept by Dieringer from February 1951 to his retirement in 1983 and record his daily work activities, meetings, and trips to the field.

Geneva Douglas Papers
The Geneva Douglas papers are largely composed of materials related to her participation in Soroptimist International. Smaller portions of the collection come from her professional work at the U.S. Public Health Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Nevada Nuclear Waste Study Group. Other volunteer organizations activities are also present, including Douglas’s role as chairperson of the Governor's Advisory Committee on Volunteerism. Material between 1945-1993.
