Bud Beasley (1909-2004) was a Nevada educator, University of Nevada athletic star, and baseball coach at Reno High School from 1936-1976. In 1995, a Reno, Nevada elementary school was named after him. The collection contains a biography of Beasley written around 2000 by Ruby Trivelpiece under the pseudonym H. H. Hopkins.

In 1915 three mines combined into the Jacket-Crown Point-Belcher Mines Company which in turn became part of the United Comstock Mining company in 1920. Collection contains records of operation including weekly reports from the mine superintendent to H.D. Fry; and assay records for the Belcher and Crown Point mines; and the Santiago, Vivian, Mexican, and Eureka mills.
