Lincoln Hall Association Minute Book
The Lincoln Hall Association was founded in 1914 as an organization for men living in the Lincoln Hall dormitory, with membership limited to those men who did not belong to a fraternity. In 1942, when the dorm was used for U.S. Army-Air Corps cadets, the Lincoln Hall men reorganized as Sigma Rho Delta. One book of minutes listing officers, activities, and provides general information on the association.
Lincoln Hall Association Scrapbook
Lincoln Hall opened in 1896 as a men's dormitory. Scrapbook contains constitution, by-laws, and minutes of the Lincoln Hall Association, photographs, news clippings, and ephemera documenting the history of both the association and the building.
Fred E. Swink Records
The collection contains alumnus Fred Swink's paper on Lincoln Hall and copies of sources he used to write the paper for a UNR English class. Included are copied pages from the Artemisia yearbook and various oral histories; letters from previous occupants of Lincoln Hall; a paper for History 217 by Elizabeth Bash; and interviews with former residents. Audio recordings on two cassettes and two sets of CDs are included.
