Among the positions he held until his retirement in 1981, was assistant and associate library director, and head of the Special Collections Department. Evalyn Titus Dearmin graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1956. She worked at UNR in the College of Education on a federal grant project on ethnic heritage in the 1970s. Collection contains materials collected on native languages and culture as well as photographs of UNR in the 1950s.

Mary Isabel Hill attended the University of Nevada from 1933-1942. The collection contains one scrapbook and loose scrapbook pages from a second, smaller scrapbook.
