Harden Hand Grenade Fire Extinguisher Company was a Chicago based company which manufactured fire extinguishers (used in the mining industry). Hume Yerington was agent for Nevada and part of eastern California; Howard H. Gross was Pacific Coast agent. Collection contains primarily letters between Yerington and Gross relating to orders, publicity, and the letting of sub-agencies. Also included are forms, bills, receipts, and an account books. Dates range from 1884-1885.
