Abstract

Iris Blaisdell and her mother traveled to the Palomino Guest Ranch in Reno, Nevada from New York City in order for her mother to obtain a divorce from her father. Collection contains one page of stationary from the Palomino Guest Ranch and Iris Blaisdell's recollections of the four months spent at the ranch from November 1952-February 1953 while her mother established residency in Nevada for a divorce.

Abstract

Harry (1904-1990) and Joan Deeley (1914-1991) Drackert owned and operated the Pyramid Lake Guest Ranch, the Donner Trails, Guest Ranch, the Silver Circle Guest Ranch, and Indian Territory, Inc. (store). The collection consists of records and papers of the Drackerts' three guest ranches and their store as well as papers of Harry Drackert's parents, Charles E. and Alice Richtmyer Drackert.
