Robert B. Morrill is a trained mediator and arbitrator who has also a passion for Nevada history. Morrill graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with honors as well as a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. The collection contains a short history of Fred and Jacob Kline written by Robert Morrill for a Kline family reunion that took place in Virginia City, Nevada in July 2011.

The Young America Engine No. 2 Company was a fire department in Virginia City, Nevada. The collection includes a minute book containing records of the organization from the first meeting on March 19, 1862 to February 5, 1877.
