Bullion and Exchange Bank Records
The Bullion and Exchange Bank of Carson City, Nevada was established in 1875 as the Carson City Savings Bank. THe collection includes two volumes of manuscript drafts written by the Bullion and Exchange Bank on the Anglo-California Bank of San Francisco, one volume of daily statements, one ledger, and 7 folders of invoices and correspondence dating from 1877-1931.

Gold Hill (Nev.) Fire Department Constitution and Bylaws
The Gold Hill Fire Department was located in Gold Hill, Nevada and was organized on May 22, 1867. The collection includes a printed version of the 1878 revised constitution and bylaws of the fire department and includes names of officers and delegates from individual engine companies, fire signals, boundary definitions of individual fire districts, constitution, and bylaws.
Kelly Family Papers
Originally emigrants from Ireland, the Kelly family settled in Nevada around 1867. By the turn of the 20th century, family members had relocated to California and Montana. Collection includes letters to and from Kelly family members, a certificate of citizenship for October 12, 1868 for P. N. Kelly, and business and legal documents.
Knickerbocker Mining Company Records
Included is a property ledger describing the property and claims of the company, 1887; correspondence, 1876-1907; receipts, 1878-1879; tax receipts, 1878-1914; claim map, 1867; and legal papers regarding transfer of the company to the Virginia and Truckee Railroad Company for nonpayment of debts.
Correspondence to Mary Leavitt
John McKay, a miner, and John Nelson, a mining superintendent, lived in Gold Hill, Nevada Territory in the mid-1860s. The collection contains two letters written by McKay and Nelson to their sister, Mary Leavitt, who lived in Wisconsin. In McKay's letter, he discusses views of the Civil War and living in Gold Hill while Nelson describes his trip out to Nevada, family matters, and sending money home.
