Reno Casino Dealers Interviews
Dwayne Kling was a Reno, Nevada casino dealer, pit boss, and casino general manager. Interviews by Dwayne Kling and Patti Mooney of Reno and Sparks, Nevada, casino workers from the 1940s-1960s include Joe Snyder, Betty Hoover, Billie Martinez Hallum, Joe Merhar, Reva Jolly, and Dwayne Kling. These individuals were "21" and dice dealers; one, Kling, was also a pit boss and a casino general manager (1986-1987).
David K. Rice Papers
David K. Rice worked for the Nevada Department of Wildlife for 30 years primarily as Chief Conservation Educator. He is also the author of a former weekly column for the Reno Gazette Journal on hunting and fishing. Collection contains material from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (and formerly the Nevada Fish and Game Commission) about the department's conservation work, particularly at Pyramid Lake. Also includes columns written by Rice for the RGJ.
