Abstract

Irene Bruce (1903-1937) was a Nevada Poet, poetry editor for Nevada magazine, founder of the Reno Poetry Workshop, and member of the National League of American Pen Women. Primarily typescript poems by Bruce: Mountain cabin, Autumn wind across a grave, Widow, Garden spider, Lost Indian wind, and Lake Pyramid. Also included is a printed pamphlet of poetry and letter from Bruce to J [Joanne de Longchamps]. Dates range from 1950-1969.
