The Carson and Colorado Railroad was incorporated in May 1880 to service the growing Mining Companies of the west Central Nevada and nearby California. Collection contains organizational papers, correspondence, land related documents, financial statements between 1880-1916. Harry (1904-1990) and Joan Deeley (1914-1991) Drackert owned and operated the Pyramid Lake Guest Ranch, the Donner Trails, Guest Ranch, the Silver Circle Guest Ranch, and Indian Territory, Inc. (store). The collection consists of records and papers of the Drackerts' three guest ranches and their store as well as papers of Harry Drackert's parents, Charles E. and Alice Richtmyer Drackert.

International Hotel guest register

The International Hotel was owned by L. P. O'Connor in Virginia City, Nevada, and was considered to be one of the finest in town at the time. Guest register from 1869-1870 includes date, signature of hotel guest, and occasionally their comments. Many pages obscured by pasted-in newspaper clippings.
