Abstract Nellie Beasley moved to Reno in 1937 and was a championship bowler as well as a participant in northern Nevada women's softball. She taught bowling at Reno Bowl and the Town and Country Bowl and was also a bowling instructor for University of Nevada and area high school students. Her husband, Dr. Bud L.
