The Round Mountain Library was a public library at Round Mountain, Nye County, Nevada, established in 1969. Included are minutes of organizational meetings of the Friends of the Round Mountain Library, bylaws of the Friends, membership list, grant application, and newspaper clippings (1969-1983).
Correspondence to James Scrugham, owner, detailing gold yields from various pits at the mine; letter to Metals Exploration Company regarding Scrugham's lease at Round Mountain and providing details on the mines' geology; and a speech [by Scrugham?] about placer operations at Round Mountain. Also cancelled stock certificate issued to John E. Fryer, 1916.
Includes Lucile Rae Berg's master's thesis, A history of the Tonopah area and adjacent region of central Nevada, 1827-1941; oral history of Karl "Skook" Berg and his wife Arleen; genealogical information on the Berg family; and a copy of the BLM report, the Round Mountain land status question.
