Abstract Included are clippings, correspondence, and political handouts for Mary L. Gojack's 1982 campaign for U.S. Congressman from Nevada, and 1988 Nevada campaigns for local and federal offices; and printed materials on the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, women's rights and legal status, age and sex discrimination, education for women, and other related women's issues in Nevada and the U.S.
Abstract The collection consists primarily of materials created and/or used by Ford during her years as Nevada state legislator and during the operation of her businesses. Additional materials include personal papers, and course materials from her role as instructor in the Women’s Studies Program at UNR. A series which was added in 1996 contains materials about the many organizations and committees she has been involved with in her professional career.
Scope and Contents Items given to donor by Jean Ford, plus additional newsletters, etc. up to 2008. Preliminary inventory available in department.

Abstract The records consist of descriptions of the Archives project, correspondence, financial records; minutes of its Advisory Board, information about Jean Ford's activities in coordinating the project, survey responses concerning potential historical documents, and resources available in university libraries and other Nevada organizations supporting the history of women in Nevada. Of interest are two issues of the FEMNET Newsletter published by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Abstract At the beginning of the meeting, a synopsis of the war years at the university was read, listing memorable people and events. Then each woman spoke of her personal experiences, which included dating, classes, rationing, housing, and war-related activities.
