University of Nevada, Reno, Academic Council Records
Beginning as the Administrative Council in 1944, it became the Academic Committee in 1952, the Academic Council in 1963, and the Administrative Council from 1981-1987. The Council was responsible for determining policies governing programs, academic faculty, committees, scheduling, and curriculum. The collection consists of the Academic Council minutes, and contains reports and recommendations not included with the routinely distributed minutes.
Academy for the Environment Records
The Academy for the Environment records consist of issues of its newsletter; a brochure of environmental degrees offered at the university; the report of the 2007 Tahoe Summit that describes the activities of the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science, the College of Engineering, the Reynolds School of Journalism, and the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension; and an Earth Day poster.
Account sheet for building materials
Account sheet believed to be from the Virginia City, Nevada Territory area, for Isaac G. Forbes in account with S.M. Blaisdell, for lumber products for four months during 1858. The items ordered include building materials such as boards, siding, roofing, and shingles.
Paul S. Adamian Papers
Paul S. Adamian was a professor of English who joined the University of Nevada faculty as a lecturer in 1966, became an assistant professor in 1968, and was granted tenure in the 1969/70 school year. The collection includes general correspondence, copies of legal records, ephemera, and newspaper clippings, 1970-1979, and materials regarding his teaching appointment at Southern Oregon College prior to becoming faculty at the University of Nevada, 1965-1966.

F.A. Adams was a gold miner from the Monitor Mining District, Alpine County, California. Adams writes to his brother from Genoa, Nevada Territory, about their mining ventures in the Monitor Mining District and supplies need, and gives instructions regarding queries to other miners. Created on December 13, 1862.
