Merrimac Mill Company Records
The Merrimac Mil Company was a mineral processing mill built two miles below Empire City, Comstock Lode, Nevada in 1861-1862. The collection contains a daily account ledger that provides names of mines and individuals with whom the mill did business, and dates and amounts of transactions.es.
Raycraft Exchange Hotel Registers
The Raycraft Exchange Hotel was located in Genoa, Nevada and owned by Ellen (Quinlan) and Richard Raycraft. The collection contains hotel registers that list the names and addresses of daily guests and printed ads for businesses in the San Francisco Bay area of California.
Tenabo Mill and Mining Company Records
Included are correspondence; payroll records; day book of stores; and loose reports, correspondence, and maps of mines in the area. Reports by geologists include history and geology of the area and prospects for development; payrolls list employees (including Chinese), wages, rent, store bill and board owed.
