Governors' spouses -- Nevada

Kathy List was former wife of Nevada governor Robert List, Republican who was governor from 1979-1983. Scrapbook includes clippings, photographs, invitations, brochures, clippings, and mementos pertaining to activities during the period when Robert List was governor of Nevada. Material from 1968; 1979-1982.

Sandy Miller's papers created as Nevada's first lady: subject files, schedules for personal appearances, material related to the Governors' Wives section of the National Government Association, and correspondence, Women's health issues and a public school program to encourage reading called Moose on the Loose were especially important projects for Mrs. Miller (1994-1998).

Sandra "Sandy" Miller was a northern Nevada community activist and the wife of Nevada governor Bob Miller. The collection includes correspondence about events Miller attended or supported; press releases and announcements; speeches; certificates; photographs; and subject files.

Marjorie Ann Guild Russell (1916-1997) was a Nevada First Lady and longtime Board of Trustee member. Included in this collection are family papers containing clippings, correspondence, a speech about living in the Nevada governor's mansion, and photographs, all between 1914-1994.

Bette Sawyer (1923-2002) was a United States first lady. Biographical sketch from 1993 describes Sawyer's education; facts about the Sawyers' early married life and birth of their daughter, Gail Louise; list of Mrs. Sawyer's club activities; and information about one of her projects as first lady of Nevada.
