Pat Hardy Lewis was elected the the Reno City Council in 1973 and served until 1977. While a City Councilmen Ms. Lewis was most interested in planning and the use of land for Reno's future. She was a strong proponent of involving citizens in the decision process through the use of ad hoc committees. She is currently a counselor at the University of Nevada, Reno. Included are the subjects of growth, methods of sewage treatment, and planning for the future of Reno, from 1973-1980.
