Overview The Board of Regents was established by the Nevada State Constitution in 1864 with the first Board created in 1865. The Board is responsible for the governance of the institutions comprising the Nevada System of Higher Education. Overview Dr. Milton D. Glick was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 30, 1937. He obtained his doctorate degree in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and married Peggy Porter in 1965. Dr. Glick joined the chemistry faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he eventually became Chair of the Department of Chemistry and published 99 research articles. Overview John P. Marschall served as Interim Director of Finance Administration, January-June 1983, until being appointed Director of University Services in July 1983. He held that position until September 1988, when he was reassigned as Special Assistant to the Vice President for Student Services. The collection consists of correspondence, minutes of meetings, memorandums, and routine office files from the various administrative positions John Marschall held during this period.

Abstract The University Council was to formulate and recommend to the university president legislation relative to university educational policy and faculty welfare. The number of Council seats to which any College or Division was entitled was based upon the number of its full time faculty members.
