Abstract

The Overland Emigrant Trail is one of a complex series of trails that crossed most Midwestern states to eventually lead into Utah, California, Oregon, and Washington. Manuscript guidebook to markers placed across the 40-Mile Desert of northwestern Nevada between 1968-1970. Included is the original report, two addenda, a trail map, diagram for construction of markers, and list of committee members and others who assisted in the project.
