Dallas Woodrow Wilson is the grandson of William Stanage Wilson who was a wheat farmer in Or., mined for gold in the Boise Basin of Idaho, and mined silver near Battle Mountain, Nevada. Included is a copy of the trail diary of William Stanage Wilson, biographical information from family and historical sources for periods before and after 1852, and the author's story of how he located family members and information for this unpublished manuscript (1997).
