Abstract

Myram Borders (1936- ) is an American journalist, former manager of the Las Vegas bureau of United Press International, and commissioner of the Nevada Commission of Consumer Affairs, 1991-1992. The collection contains scrapbooks which include photographs and newspaper clippings about California and Las Vegas, Nevada, produced while Borders was a commissioner of the Nevada Commission of Consumer Affairs.

Kathleen C. Hoxsie was a journalist and freelance writer covering stories in northern Nevada and California, especially Lake Tahoe. The collection contains her professional materials and copies of her freelance writing from 1977-2018.

Abstract Jean Sybil McElrath (1917-1967) was a Nevada writer. In 1965 she was awarded the Distinguished Nevadan Award by the University of Nevada.
