Reminiscences of Andrew Comstock Dibble
Andrew Dibble was a rancher who was primarily active in second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century. This collection contains records of Dibble's memories, dictated to his son, about his travels from 1867-1935 across the U.S., working as a teamster for the U.S. Army, telling of conflicts between settlers and Indigenous nations, Custer's Custer's campaigns in the western U.S., running cattle to Abilene, Kansas, and to eastern Nevada, and ranching near Fallon, Nevada.
