Robert Bridges (1914-1989) He served as a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps during WWII and was honorably discharged in December 1945. Before joining the Marines, Bridges worked on both the Golden Gate and Bay bridges. After his return from war and his discharge from the military, he joined the U.S. Mint in San Francisco. The collection contains papers and ephemera collected by him while working at the U.S. Mint as well as events he attended during that time period.
Collected by the Special Collections Department, the collection contains a variety of miscellaneous political ephemera, flyers, etc. distributed by individuals running for city, county, and national seats in Nevada and at the national level.

Dr. Milton D. Glick (1937-2011) served as the 15th President of the University of Nevada, Reno, from August 2006 until his death on April 16, 2011. The Milton D. Glick Collection consists of a scrapbook, photographs of his inauguration as University President and from his memorial service, and objects and ephemera from his term in office.
