Overview Henry C. J. Evans was born in New Jersey around 1915. His cousin, for whom he was named, lived out west and knew Will James. Collection contains a caricature-like, vignette illustration purported to have been drawn by Will James around 1925 as well as a small amount of correspondence regarding it.

Overview Original ink and water color illustrations of the Lion of St. Mark (il leone di San Marco), heraldic symbol of the city of Venice, Italy. It was presented to the library by Dr. Effie Mona Mack at the cornerstone ceremony dedicating the Mack Social Sciences Building at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1967.
