Goldfield Queen May Mining Company Records
Formally organized in May 1904 by George Wingfield and George Nixon, the Goldfield May Queen Mining Company consisted of several mill sites throughout Goldfield, Nevada. The collection contains account ledger sheets that document expenses, capital stock, profit and loss, water plant costs, taxes, and the company’s bank account, from 1919-1921.

Lewis Hahn Papers
Lewis "Lew" Hahn was an early Wonder, Nevada miner who, after leaving the state, became the manager and owner of a number of New York City mercantile companies. This collection contains correspondence, dated 1906-1913, to and from Hahn during his Wonder, Nevada mining days as well as reminiscences of his time there. Also included is an advertising booklet for Syndicate-Alliance Trading Co., Inc. from the 1940s.

Included are membership rosters, expense books, and minutes, from 1906-1907. Of particular note are the indications of the number of women involved in the Wobbly movement in Nevada.
