High Sierra Prime Timers-Reno Records
The High Sierra Prime Timers-Reno was the local branch of the Prime Timers World Wide, an international organization that provides support for mature bisexual or gay men. It was founded in 2000 and active until August 2022; Ken Zeising was a founding member and first president of the organization. The collection contains a history of the organization, the final newsletter, the Constitution and bylaws, Chapter Charter, and a certificateof incorporation by the State of Nevada.
Martin Koehler Papers
Martin Koehler was a member of the Metropolitan Community Church of the Sierra and a northern Nevada gay rights activist. The collection contains posters, newspaper clippings, meeting minutes, and brochures regarding the Church as well as other gay rights activities in which Koehler participated.
Nevada LGBT Archive Records
The Nevada LGBT Archive began in December 2015 as a non-profit and as a statewide repository of artifacts and ephemera pertaining to the LGBT population in Nevada. Collection highlights northern Nevada resources available to LGBT community and the events held by/for them, and events held for the LGBT community in Nevada. Collection materials include brochures, posters, newspaper articles, and banners created between 1965 and 2018.
