The Inyo Development Company was formed to evaporate, process, and ship the natural soda found in the brines at Owens Lake, Inyo County, California. Collection contains correspondence, financial statements, labor records, soda records, legal documents and maps from 1885-1916.
Beatrice Fettic Jones Papers
Primarily, legal documents such as deeds and probate cases; and accounts of the earliest non-indigenous settlers in Nevada, specifically the Motts, Fettics, and Brockliss'. Miscellaneous materials include report card and diploma from Mottsville schools, newspaper clippings, genealogical worksheets, Nevada centennial programs, an autograph album, and scrapbook of 19th and 20th century advertising art. Collection contains daily, weekly, and annual reports, 1879-1920; letters, 1874-1913; payroll, 1879-1884; cash books, 1882-1911 abstract of title of the company's real estate and miscellaneous other business records, 1878-1906.
