The Allen and Bertrand families emigrated to Nevada in the 1860s, settling in the central part of the state near Austin, Cortez, and Carlin. The collection contains genealogical materials of the Allen and Bertrand families as well as extensive correspondence and photographs.
E. B. Coffin Papers
The E. B. Coffin Papers contains genealogical materials about Coffin family members, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates; lineage notes; obituaries; and newspaper clippings. Also included is correspondence (usually on the death of a family member), deeds and legal agreements, a scrapbook and autograph album, and many photographs of the family.
Dalzell Family Records
History of the Dalzell family in Ireland, Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, and the Mason Valley of Nevada. Also included is an account of the escape of twenty-nine convicts from the Nevada State Penitentiary (1871), and photos.
Fulton Family Genealogical Papers
Genealogical materials regarding the Fulton, Bertheau, and Jordan families collected between 1927-2001 by Margaret Fulton, relative. The collection consists of mainly secondary source material in the form of self-published books. Some original materials, such as formal invitations and photographs, documenting both the Bertheau family in San Francisco and the Fulton family in Reno, are included.
