Overview George Bradley Russell was a Nevada newspaperman and politician, the editor of the Elko Independent, a correspondent for the Elko Daily Press, and the editor and owner of the Carson Chronicle. Russell served as Nevada State Treasurer, 1927-1934. He was also active in Republican Party politics and in many fraternal groups.
