The collection contains material from November 26, 1979 created by the University of Nevada, Reno Office of Communications and Broadcasting. The records consist of a proposal to the U. S. Department of Labor Job Corps for the development of a pilot model for a live satellite communications system at Job Corps centers to recruit and train students and for staff development.
Carley L. Sullivan was elected to the Nevada State Board of Education and served as a member, vice-president, and president of the School Board, retiring from the Board in 1994. Included scrapbooks and textual material about the Nevada Congress of Parents and Teachers in Elko and other areas of Nevada, Business and Professional Women in Nevada, education in Nevada in general, and vocational education. There is also a small amount of material about Sullivan's family (1962-1997).
