Abstract Dr. Milton D. Glick was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 30, 1937. He obtained his doctorate degree in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and married Peggy Porter in 1965. Dr. Glick joined the chemistry faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he eventually became Chair of the Department of Chemistry and published 99 research articles. Martha B. Gould was the former director of the Washoe County Libraries and an unsuccessful candidate for mayor of Reno, Nevada in 1995. The collections contains records of Gould's unsuccessful campaign for mayor and includes campaign plan, platform, press release, financial disclosure forms, donor lists, newspaper clippings, letters of support, volunteer lists, survey results, and material about opponent, Jeff Griffin (1994-1995).

The Reno Citizens for a Recall Effort Agenda was a Reno, Nevada, group organized to recall Reno City Council members in the late 1970s. The collection contains a meeting agenda that summarizes grievances of the organization which included growth issues and the City's handling of problems related to growth and planning. The collection contains material from 1978 created by the Reno Citizens for a Recall Effort.
