Willhite discusses crop rotation, the relation of water availability to the number of livestock which can be supported, economics, establishment of pasture rotation, grass types, rotation grazing, maintenance of soil fertility, and pasture productivity as related to Nevada agriculture (1938). Wilhite was superintendent of the Newlands Field Station in Fallon, Nevada.

Overview The Southern Nevada Agriculture Advisory Council was organized in 1974 to serve in an advisory capacity in developing Extension educational programs and activities and research projects for people of southern Nevada. The collection consists of the Council's constitution, by-laws, meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, and a membership roster. There are also records for the University Agricultural Experiment Station's Pahrump Field Laboratory, which predated the formation of the Council.
