The Great Basin National Park Foundation Oral History Project begain in the mid-2000s as a way to preserve and document the cultural heritage of the Great Basin in over 60 interviews with individuals who were raised and worked in White Pine County, Nevada and Millard County, Utah. The collection primarily contains oral history recordings by Dave Tilford completed over the course of approximatly 15 years from the mid-2000s-2019.
Papers created or received by William R. Wood, Academic Vice President of the University of Nevada-Reno in an effort to have part of the Snake Range in eastern Nevada declared a national park (eventually, Great Basin National Park).
