Bob A. Fulkerson is a fifth-generation Nevadan who has spent his life working to protect the environment and people of the state. He served as the Executive Director of Citizen Alert from 1984-1994 and is the co-founder and Director of PLAN, the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada. Collection contains a variety of information and materials created and collected by Bob Fulkerson during his time as Director of Citizen Alert.

Katharine Gardiner Hale (1944-2021) was an active member of the northern Nevada community and the co-founder of Citizen Alert and Save the Mapes, later known as the Truckee Meadows Heritage Trust. The collection includes Hales' records regarding Citizen Alert, Save the Mapes, a collection of art exhibit posters and flyers, and general information about Reno, Nevada politics from the 1990s.
