Ty Cobb Papers
Ty Cobb papers consist of personal papers relating to him and his family, as well as his professional role as writer and editor at the Nevada State Journal, and its successor, the Reno Gazette-Journal. Cobb had a sports column “Inside Stuff” and later a column “Cobwebs” which he continued past retirement until his death in 1997. Material between 1881-1997.
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Records
The records include sports game programs, team rosters, schedules, statistics, tickets, and promotional and media materials of men's and women's sports, 1895-2006. Titles varied for media guides. Some were called "Briefs," "Information," or "Press Book."
David Walker Hayes Papers
David Walker Hayes attended the University of Nevada, 1896-1900. He was a resident of Lincoln Hall Dormitory, and participated in athletics and various student societies. The collection contains university memorabilia: room and board receipts, athletic and theatrical programs, and photographs. Included is copy of letter to Hayes from Robert M. Brambila, class of 1897, while Brambila was in the Philippine Islands, June 8, 1899.

John M. Lilley (1939- ) served as the fourteenth president of the University of Nevada, Reno from 2001-2005. The collection consists of records created by the Office of the President during Lilley's term and includes material on accreditation, departments, and the general running of the university.
Harry William Pykor Collection of Basketball Score Books
The Harry William Pykor Collection of Basketball Score Books is composed of 13 original score books for the University of Nevada's varsity basketball team. The scores of the basketball game were hand recorded in the score books, tracking the players' field goals and fouls in each half of the game, for both the University of Nevada and the opposing team. It also lists the umpires, timekeepers, scorers, and game referees.
