Catherine M. Manley was an Arizona author and the widow of Ray Halleck Manley. The collection contains an unpublished manuscript describing Ray Manley's travels in the southwestern United States and in Mexico.

Class notebooks from Price's studies at the University of California and daily journals of 1895, 1897, and 1899. The 1897 journal contains a supply list, recipes, and account of a hiking/camping trek in Yosemite with his wife Jennie, where they placed Sierra Club registers on mountain peaks.
