Utah Territory of the United States later became the states of Utah and Nevada. The collection contains an index of the laws of the territory compiled by or for Judge S. F. Gilcrest. Entries include type of law, such as "obscounding" or divorce; and section and page number of the Compiled laws of Utah Territory, 1855, and acts of the fifth through the ninth sessions, 1855/56-1859/60.

Includes Ingram's application to the Nevada Supreme Court to practice law (1921); rules of practice in the United States. District Court (Nevada, 1926, 1950); and notes and correspondence on rules of practice, particularly regarding bankruptcy law.

Edward F. Lunsford was a Nevada District Court Judge from 1919-1921. The collection contains the personal notebook of Judge Lunsford and includes notes on his cases.
