Governor's Prayer Breakfast Committee was a committee under the auspices of the Nevada governor, charged with organizing an ecumenical prayer breakfast held February 10, 1987 at Bally's Grand Hotel, Reno, Nevada. Included are minutes of meetings, agendas, correspondence, invitation, list of subcommittee member duties, and list of committee members (1986-1987).

The Reno Friends Meeting formed in 1961 and was officially incorporated in 1969. The group is dedicated to the facilitation of Quaker worship in Reno, Nevada as well as pursuing social concerns of interest to the Friends. The collection contains Reno Friends meeting minutes, correspondence, flyers, brochures related to Quakerism and other social issues, information on the Friends boarding school (active in the 1960s), and Pacific Yearly Meeting materials.
